Book your private Get it Done session and let’s take action!

If you've been feeling stalled while creating your recent presentations, you've come to the right place!

While you may not know what the answer to your problem is just yet, you certainly know what the answer ISN’T.

❌It’s not another coaching intensive; you've got the basics down pat and you don't need a lot of hand-holding.

❌It’s not a group coaching program where you don't get personalized or customized support, and you feel invisible in a sea of other voices clamoring for the guru to pay attention.

❌And it’s not another book, DIY course or Google, where you might find some answers, but there's no live person to talk through deeper questions and concerns.

You KNOW you need support to iron out the kinks in your presentation, to make sure it's effective and engaging, and to put an end to the stress of procrastination and uncertainty of what will and won't work.

But when you look around for options, nothing out there is exactly what you need right now.

Wouldn't it be great if you could...

How does a Get it Done session work?

3 hours of Voxer coaching in 30 seconds

Voxer is an app that allows us to exchange asynchronous voice and text messages. This means we're not sitting together in the same block of time, but rather sending messages and responding in our own time. (Click the image to the right to watch 3 hours of Voxer coaching in 30 seconds!)

1. You book your time with me.

You don’t need to free your calendar for this. Get it Done sessions are flexible and flow alongside your other tasks and responsibilities.

You just need to make sure you have enough time between your activities to listen and reply to messages - as well as the mental space to think, process, take notes, reflect, etc.

When you book your time, you'll fill out a couple of questions to help me understand what you want to work on.

2. We get you set up on Voxer.

If you don’t have a Voxer account, you’ll create one - it’s free.

We’ll add each other on Voxer, and you can send me a message in advance so we make sure it's working.

3. On the day of your session, you’ll have access to me for a 90-minute block or a 3-hour block between 10:00 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT.

Because it's asynchronous, you're not expected or supposed to be sitting by your phone or computer waiting for replies. It's not like a Zoom meeting or intensive coaching session.

We’ll be exchanging messages throughout the session at a steady yet relaxed pace.

The best thing about Voxer sessions is that we have space in between messages to think about ideas, reflect, write, practice, go through your files, edit your presentations and whatever else you need to do!

That’s part of what makes Voxer Get it Done sessions so effective.

What can we work on together?

Your private Get it Done session is all about you and designed by you. You come with your questions and we'll talk about whatever it is you need in the moment.

🟠Develop exercises or activities for your next workshop

🟠Hammer out a stronger opening, closing or main ideas of your presentation

🟠Get clear on stories, examples or analogies that can make your content stronger and more engaging

🟠Practice a short script

🟠Talk through your speaker proposal to make sure you're putting your best foot forward when applying to speak at conferences

🟠Clarify your key points and organizational structure of your presentation so you're leading your audience down a path to a desired result

🟠Work on mindset and confidence issues, mental and emotional preparation

🟠Make sure your language and data are clear and concise so you don't confuse or bore your audience

🟠Brainstorm titles, topics, engagement ideas, client follow-up, workflows and anything else related to your in-person or remote presentations

🟠Practice vocal variety, pausing, telling a story and other audio aspects of short snippets of your presentation

🟠Call to action? Slides? Anticipated objections? White space? Humor? Timing? Remote tech? Yeah, we can talk about any or all of it!

When you book a Get it Done session, what you're really getting is...

"Having worked with Lisa in a group coaching workshop, I knew she would have valuable insight as I was working on developing language for a new area of my work and the related promotional materials.

I loved this format. Having three hours to spread out in made it feel less pressured. I felt I had time to dig into The Hard Tasks and get Lisa's helpful outside opinion.

It was easy to use from phone and computer, and we did a short message exchange to test it so I felt prepared.

Because it was just voice and text feedback, with some space and time in between to process it, I felt I was able to I was able to probe deeper into the 'whys,' to bring about a greater energy for action.

The container Lisa set up gave me a breakthrough, and I'd recommend the experience!"

Why are asynchronous sessions so great?

We both have time to mull over answers, dig deeper with things and even go off track! It's a leisurely-paced conversation.

We can both listen back to and download conversation snippets to use later. If you like to process things by talking out loud, this is great for that!

You can get quick shifts and quick results by asking targeted and focused questions.

You don't need to be in a specific place at a specific time, although please don't text while driving! You can do all your daily tasks... just come back and check for messages in between!

It's less time pressure than a one hour call, but quicker to implement than spreading coaching out over weeks.

If you prefer to text, you can absolutely type in your questions and answers, as well as share files and links in the text section.

You don't need to be camera-ready (although this is something I don't really care about, but you might!). You can be sitting in your kitchen with dishes piled up all around, and I'll never know!

No fancy tech is needed. Just your phone and the Voxer app, and it's super simple to use. You can also participate on the desktop.

So... who am I?

Six images of Lisa delivering remote training

Hi! I'm Lisa Braithwaite. I’ve been speaking, teaching, training and coaching for over 30 years.

My first six years of speaking on the job, back in the 90s, were spent in high school classrooms, teaching teenagers about domestic violence (my "trial by fire").

Before that, I got my master's degree in education.

Before that, I got a B.A. in theater.

Before that, I was on the speech team and performed in plays, dancing and singing groups.

And before that, I was just a kid who was a ham and loved to create performances for my parents and their friends.

Most importantly, though, my time as an advocate and trainer in the nonprofit sector and my educational degrees have influenced my upbeat, lighthearted, and accessible approach to public speaking coaching and  training.

I've provided workshops and keynotes for organizations as diverse as Microsoft, NOAA, Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, California Society of Association Executives and the American Bus Association, and I've been interviewed in the Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune, and Toastmaster Magazine.

I'm also the author of Presenting for Humans: Insights for Speakers on Ditching Perfection and Creating Connection.

I'll be your biggest cheerleader and accountability partner to help you get out of your comfort zone and into the biggest, boldest, most confident version of YOU that you can be.

FAQ

Will this be right for me?

YES, if…

🔸you want a personalized approach but prefer not to be tethered to your desk or on camera

🔸you’ve been looking for the customized private coaching you need at a price point you can easily afford

What if we’re in different time zones?

Get it Done sessions are offered between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. PST. Reach out to me by email if these times are too early or late for your time zone and we can discuss how to make it work!

How much time is included in a Get it Done session?

I offer a 90-minute block and a 3-hour block. This doesn't mean we'll be sitting on a call for 90 minutes or 3 hours! We'll exchange messages at a leisurely pace within that time window.

How will I know if there is an available date that works for me?

You'll be sent to my calendar once you make payment, to find a time that works. Reach out if my calendar doesn't show availability; I might be able to move things around!

How available do I need to be during our session?

During a Get it Done session, we’ll be exchanging messages at a slow yet steady pace throughout our time together.

This isn’t a non-stop conversation. Neither one needs to be sitting by our phones waiting for replies. There's a window of time during which we’ll be exchanging messages back and forth.

We’ll be speaking and listening at a steady flow and relaxed pace. Feel free to answer emails, feed the cats, take a quick walk, make lunch, get work done, etc.

You’ll just want to make sure you have enough time to listen and reply to messages, and to think, take action, reflect, edit your presentation, and work on whatever project we're discussing.

These sessions won't work for you if:

❌ You're in back-to-back meetings at work

❌ You need to be in your car for a large chunk of time

❌ You're in a place with music, TV or videos playing where you won't be able to listen to responses

❌ You need to share your screen

How long should my messages be? Do they have to be audio only?

Your messages can be as long as you like, but ideally no longer than about 3 minutes. Don’t worry if you feel like you’re rambling, though. I think better when I talk things through, and you might be the same!

You can also choose to text during our entire session; no need to speak at all! You can also send videos or links to Google docs. Or do a combination. I will likely do a mix of talking and texting. Whatever works for you.

What if I need to reschedule?

If you need to reschedule, please give me at least 24 hours notice. Since my Get it Done sessions are so limited, please email me and we can rebook on a date within three months of your initial booking. After that, there are no refunds or reschedules allowed.

What's your refund policy?

As spots are very limited, once your date is booked, it is yours and non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, you can do so within three months of the initial booking date, with 24 hours notice. Once our session has been completed, as with all of my private coaching, there are no refunds.

What kind of topic is not a good fit for a Get it Done session?

Anything that requires me to watch you practice a presentation or where you need to show video longer than about five minutes or where screensharing is necessary.

Creating and working through a full-length presentation from scratch isn't a good fit, and you'll want to book my regular coaching package for that.

I can do limited reviews and give you feedback on video content and materials, as long as you send me something in advance.

Is Voxer free?

Yes, it is. And it’s available for both mobile and desktop.

What happens after I reserve my spot?

Once you've reserved your spot with your payment, you'll receive a confirmation email from me, with next steps and instructions.

I have one more question before I book.

You can email me here with any questions: lisa[at]coachlisab[dot]com!
